Trick Dog Register of Merit [TD-ROM]

Rules:

RULES: Earned when your dog plus any offspring or siblings earn a total of 10 qualifying trick titles. 

PRE-REQUISITES: None

A Register of Merit (ROM) title recognizes a dog that has produced or influenced an exceptional number of successful offspring or descendants. Traditionally, ROM titles honor dogs whose family lines consistently demonstrate desirable inherited traits such as intelligence, athleticism, instinct, and willingness to learn.

The Trick Dog Register of Merit (TD-ROM) celebrates dogs whose family lines demonstrate outstanding achievement in tricks.

 

HOW TO EARN YOUR TD-ROM:

To qualify for the TD-ROM designation, a combined total of 10 qualifying trick titles must be earned by:

• the dog applying for the title
• their offspring
• their siblings
• or any combination of these

The applicant dog is not required to hold titles personally if enough qualifying titles have been earned by their siblings and/or offspring. Likewise, a single dog may earn all 10 qualifying titles independently.

Standard Trick titles (such as Novice Trick Dog, Novice Masters), Stunt Dog titles, standard Animal Actor titles (AA1, AA2, AA3, AA4, AA5).

• Intermediate Trick Dog (ITD)
• Advanced Trick Dog (ATD)
• Expert Trick Dog (ETD)
• Trick Puppy Champion (TPCH)
• Trick Dog Champion (TDCH)
• Trick Dog Grand Champion (TDGCH)

Trick Masters Titles:

• Novice Trick Dog Masters (NTD-M)
• Intermediate Trick Dog Masters (ITD-M)
• Advanced Trick Dog Masters (ATD-M)
• Expert Trick Dog Masters (ETD-M)
• Trick Dog Champion Masters (TDCH-M)

Dog-lympics Trick Titles:

• Dog Olympics Can only be earned in Summer Olympics years (DO)
• Pentathlon (O-P5)
• Hoops (O-H)
• Balls (O-B)
• Fetch (O-F)

Stunt Dog Titles

• Intro Stunt Dog (ISD)
• Novice Stunt Dog (NSD)
• Open Stunt Dog (OSD) 
• Proven Stunt Dog (PSD) 
• Stunt Dog Professional (SDPRO)  
• Stunt Dog Champion (SDCH)

Animal Actor Titles
